 Having the correct grip on your racket is essential to your game. Whether you are serving the first point, or are in the middle of a twenty shot rally, it is important that your racket doesn't slip in your hand whilst playing a shot, especially once your hands start to perspire. Here at Stringing Solutions we stock grips for badminton, squash and tennis from all the leading brands, including Karakal, Tourna, Pro's Pro, Wilson, Tecnifibre and Head.
All these manufacturers produce grip replacements and overgrips. Overgrips are used when you don't want to effect your current grip size of your racket, therefore they are very thin (usually approximately 0.3mm - 0.75mm thick) and wrap over the top of your existing grip. Once the overgrip has worn down, you simply can replace the overgrip with another. Choosing the right kind of grip/overgrip is of personal choice and depends on what you are looking for; it maybe extra cushion (maybe due to blisters), or a 'tacky' grip to stop the racket slipping, or, if you perspire, an absorbant grip.
Depending on the manufacturer, grips/overgrips are available as a single item, in packs of 3-5, or in boxes and tubs.
