Ashaway's PowerNick 18 is used by many of the worlds top professional players, including David Palmer, Nick Matthew, Lee Beechill and Ong Beng Hee. It is construction from a multi-stranded central core of Zyex filaments. The outer spiral braid provides a good gripping surface to enhance spin.

Although used by many of the top professionals, it is a string that can be used by players wanting to maximise power in their game. Offers excellent control from a firm string bed and allows for good spin generation. Due to the strenght of the Zyex fibres, PoweNick 18 must be strung 2lbs less tension than equivalent nylon strings.
